Practitioners Trained in Robotics Provide More Value to Surgeons

The role of surgical assistants has increasingly become more important as technology advances. AP Health first embraced robotics in 2015 and implemented a robust training program involving online modules and hands on training. As robotic surgery as put more pressure on the role of the surgical assistant, it is crucial for them to get scrubbed-in training and practice with the equipment to keep the surgical flow going smoothly.
